94R AGM Batteries for Modern Vehicles
A specialized store focused on BCI Group 94R AGM batteries for cars, SUVs, and light trucks that need dependable starting power, stable accessory support, and maintenance-free performance.
What Is a 94R AGM Battery?
A 94R AGM battery is a 12V automotive battery in BCI Group Size 94R, commonly referred to as H7 or L4. AGM stands for Absorbent Glass Mat — a sealed design that holds electrolyte in fiberglass mats instead of free-flowing liquid. This gives better vibration resistance, stronger cycling durability, maintenance-free operation, and more stable power delivery. The 94R size is widely used in modern cars, SUVs, and light trucks with start-stop systems, heated seats, infotainment systems, and other electronics that place higher demand on the battery.

I've never had problems with ACDelco batteries. Never. Even the ones considered "budget" batteries always had great initial capacity, great quality and lifespan. This Gold series AGM is no different. Great quality as usual. And it's made in Germany! One thing I definitely recommend before installation is charging. Even if it's 13+ volts just put it on low amp charge overnight. Slow initial charging to full capacity will greatly improve longevity.
I bought this battery about a year ago, and it worked perfectly for the entire first year. Then it suddenly stopped charging. I emailed their warranty department and by the end of the same day, I had a reply asking for details and my Amazon invoice. The very next morning I received an email from FedEx saying a replacement battery was already being shipped. That's seriously impressive customer service.
Fits my 2016 Kia Sorento perfectly. Tried a few quick cranks after installing and it started right away each time. My only critique is that there doesn't seem to be a way to return my old battery, so I'll run it up to a local auto parts store.
This battery arrived well-packaged and in excellent condition. It's heavy, as you'd expect from a solid AGM construction, and there's little to no spill risk. The car started right up with strong, confident cranking. Based on build quality and initial performance, it feels like a premium, dependable battery. Great value for the specs.
I ordered this battery to replace the 9-year old OEM battery in my Hyundai Tucson. The price was less than comparable batteries in our local stores. It fit perfectly and the terminals matched those on the old battery. Even after two weeks of parked time, when I turn the ignition key now, there is no starter cranking sound. It's just turn the key; car starts immediately.
This battery is fantastic and should last two to three times as long as a flooded battery. It's maintenance free. They can also take lower extreme temperatures over a flooded battery. This battery has 760 cold cranking amps compared to 600 on my old battery. Shipping was really fast, only took two days. Also the price is fantastic. Highly recommend.

A focused source for Group 94R AGM batteries for modern vehicles
94RAGMBattery.com is designed as a niche source for one battery category: premium AGM batteries in Group 94R format. Instead of offering hundreds of loosely related battery types, the store centers on a single format used by many late-model vehicles that demand stronger cycle life, better vibration resistance, and more reliable cold-weather starting than traditional flooded batteries typically provide.
The store's focus is practical. Buyers need clear product comparisons, consistent specifications, fitment awareness, and a better understanding of what separates one 94R battery from another. That includes real differences in terminal configuration, warranty coverage, reserve capacity, cold cranking amps, case dimensions, and brand positioning.
This is not a broad auto parts store trying to cover every category. It is a focused destination built around a specific battery format, with product selection centered on quality, specifications, and practical replacement guidance.

Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about 94R AGM batteries
94RAGMBattery.com is a niche online store focused on BCI Group 94R AGM batteries, also commonly referred to as H7 or L4 batteries. The store is built for buyers who want a more specialized and practical way to shop for this battery size, with a focus on fitment, performance, and dependable replacement options for modern vehicles.
A 94R AGM battery uses Absorbent Glass Mat technology, which helps deliver better vibration resistance, stronger cycle life, maintenance-free operation, and more stable performance in vehicles with higher electrical demand. Compared with many conventional flooded batteries, AGM batteries are generally better suited for start-stop systems and modern vehicles with more onboard electronics.
94R is a BCI group size that identifies the battery's general physical format and configuration. It helps determine whether the battery will fit your vehicle's tray and cable layout. This size is often cross-referenced with H7 or L4, but dimensions and terminal placement should still be checked before ordering.
In many cases, yes. 94R, H7, and L4 are commonly used as equivalent references for the same general battery class. Even so, it is still important to verify the exact dimensions, terminal orientation, and manufacturer fitment guidance before purchase.
The safest way is to check the current battery label, the owner's manual, or the vehicle manufacturer's battery specification. If the vehicle was originally equipped with an AGM battery, especially in models with start-stop systems, the replacement should usually also be AGM.
Start-stop vehicles place more frequent cycling demands on the battery because the engine turns off and restarts repeatedly during normal driving. AGM batteries are designed to handle that type of use better than many standard flooded batteries, which makes them a more suitable choice for vehicles with this system.
CCA stands for cold cranking amps and measures starting power in low temperatures. RC stands for reserve capacity and shows how long the battery can continue supplying power if the charging system is not fully supporting the vehicle. Ah stands for amp-hour rating and reflects overall energy capacity. Together, these numbers help buyers compare performance more accurately.
Yes, 850 CCA is a strong and common rating for premium 94R AGM batteries. It provides solid cold-weather starting performance and is well aligned with what many late-model vehicles in this battery class require.
The most important checks are battery group size, AGM requirement, terminal orientation, physical dimensions, and the vehicle's original battery specification. Buyers should not rely on battery size name alone. Even within the same general class, terminal position and exact measurements still matter.
A specialty store makes comparison easier by focusing on one battery category instead of mixing unrelated sizes and technologies. That means clearer product selection, more relevant specifications, and a shopping experience built around the practical questions buyers actually have when replacing a 94R AGM battery.
Most of the batteries in this category share similar core specs, such as 12V, around 80Ah, about 850 CCA, and approximately 140 RC. The main differences usually come down to brand reputation, construction details, warranty, manufacturing consistency, and how each battery is positioned in the market.
The ACDelco Gold 94RAGM stands out because of its stronger replacement-market reputation and its emphasis on construction quality. Features such as silver-calcium alloy, high-density paste, robust separator design, leak-resistant venting, and pressure-tested case construction make it a strong option for buyers who want a more established brand with an OEM-style feel.
Yes. Brands such as 1AUTODEPOT, Weize, Mighty Max, MARXON, and UPLUS are often attractive to buyers who want the core performance numbers expected from a 94R AGM battery without necessarily paying for the most established name. For many shoppers, these products offer a practical balance of price, specifications, and everyday reliability.
Battery life depends on climate, driving habits, charging system condition, and how the vehicle is used. In general, AGM batteries can offer longer service life than many conventional flooded batteries, especially in vehicles that place heavier cycling demands on the battery. Proper fitment and correct charging system performance also play a major role.
Terminal position matters because battery cables are designed to reach a specific layout. If the positive and negative terminals are reversed relative to the vehicle's configuration, installation may be difficult or impossible. That is why terminal orientation should always be checked along with group size and dimensions.
